# Failed to load logs of pod

Sometimes i cannot get to load logs of pod. It returns that error. But the pod exists

I want to show the logs of a pod. Sometimes, I cannot show the logs and get the error in the attached screenshot.

Hi @tkudinov, i’ve the same described problem like @realhuseyn .
I’m using following version:
Lens: 2025.10.230725-latest
Electron: 38.2.2
Chrome: 140.0.7339.133
Node: 22.19.0
on a Mac M1
I have this error since a few weeks, maybe 2 months ? Sometimes if a new pod is created while lens is already running, i click on “log” of the pod and the message appears:
Failed to load pods for tab: Pod “my-app-67d7d67f77-8qchm” does not exist in namespace “mynamespace”
To resolve this i have to disconnect from the cluster, reconnect again and there the log appears directly, without doing anything else.
It seems, that the list of pods in namespace is cached and not updated, when a new pod is created WHILE Lens is running.
This never happens to existing pods when lens ist started.
Please have a look, it’s really annoying.

Hi @kneuhaus.cc and @realhuseyn – quick update: we’ve just shipped a new release (2026.3.251250-latest) that includes a fix for the pod logs issue. It’s currently being rolled out gradually via auto-update, but if you’d like to try it right away you can download it from our website. Could you give it a try and let us know if the issue is resolved? If it comes back, please don’t hesitate to report it here again – that would help us a lot.

Hi @realhuseyn, thanks for following up – sorry to hear the issue is still there. We’ve increased the log verbosity for this component in recent builds, which should help us pinpoint what’s going wrong. Could you update to the latest version (if you haven’t already), reproduce the issue, and then share your logs with us? You can export them via Help \> Export Support Logs. That would really help us narrow this down.

Hi, I also ran into the same problem and was able to upload logs for analysis, but I can’t upload them here, because they are in .log format, here’s the error: Sorry, the file you are trying to upload is not authorized (authorized extensions: jpg, jpeg, png, gif, heic, heif, webp, mp4).

Hi @arfald20, thanks a lot for jumping in and for grabbing logs – that really helps! The forum only accepts images and video, so `.log` files get blocked. You can paste the relevant lines here in a code block (three backticks above and below), or share them via a GitHub gist / pastebin link. It’d also help to know your Lens version and OS, and roughly when the error shows up – e.g. after the machine wakes from sleep. Thanks again!
