To narrow this down, could you please try one specific thing and let me know what happens?
In the cluster settings in Lens, under Metrics, set the option to “No metrics” for this cluster (so Lens won’t query Prometheus or any other metrics backend).
Then open the details of the same pod that keeps restarting and check:
- does Lens still freeze,
- or does the UI stay responsive this time?
This will help us see whether the freeze is really caused by the metrics calls, or if something else in the pod details view is blocking the UI.
