Hey,
After the recent update to Lens Desktop, I’ve encountered an issue on my MacBook Pro M3 (running version 15.3.1). Specifically, I’m unable to open multiple tabs from different categories across the same or different clusters. The application consistently switches to the same tab and doesn’t retain the state of the previous tabs.
Hello @amitk3293,
Thank you for reaching out to Lens forum!
I’ll let the dev team about your issue.

Are the tabs ephemeral or pesistent? Ephemeral tab has name written in italics. Persistent tabs does not have italic in the tab title. You can double click the tab or the Navigator item to make them persistent.
Thanks for this tip. Answers the question for me.
So it’s basically a single-click vs double-click thing.
Can we have the option to always open a new tab on single click? I think that’s how it used to work before.
I have a follow up to this… The double click vs single click thing is not working correctly.
Not sure if there is somewhere to report a bug.
Lets say I am on cluster1.
I have a tab open, and I am viewing the pods. I then want to view the nodes to I go to the menu on the left and double click “Nodes” under cluster1.
It replaces my pods tab with a nodes tab. Which is not what I wanted.
Any ideas?
