The new Stable release of Lens Desktop is here — featuring improvements to Lens Prism. This release also includes UX enhancements driven by community feedback and a range of bug fixes for improved stability.
To ensure a smooth transition and minimize disruption we’ll start by rolling out the update to a small portion of our users, then incrementally increasing this number until all users have access to the update. If you have not received the update and wish to try it out, you can download this version manually at our website .
Enhancements
- Autonomous Agent Mode: Prism can autonomously plan and run multi-step troubleshooting tasks. You can enable the Agent mode from the Prism toolbar.
- “Ask Prism” button to the Details Panel: You can now ask Prism about any Kubernetes resource.
- “Ask Prism” button to warning icons: You can now ask Prism about any warning in Lens by clicking the warning icon.
- Improved context to Prism: Prism now has the currently selected list view, namespace and open resource in context when asking questions.
- Skill execution confirmation: Added confirmation prompt before skill execution in Prism.
- Internet skill added to Prism: Added fetch URL and web search skills to Prism.
- Improved table resizing: Double clicking on a table column separator now autoresizes the column
- AWS EKS token update support: Allow updating session token for AWS EKS.
- Upgrade Electron to 38.2.0: This includes a fix for performance issues on macOS Tahoe.
- Improved Metrics Event tooltip: Improved styling and layout makes reading the event easier.
- Support right click for 3 dot menu in list views: Improved UI/UX for list views.
- Improved UI/UX for list views: Added support for right clicking for 3 dot menu in list views. Prevented scrolling when context menu is open.

- Users with large number of available AWS SSO accounts can now view all accounts when adding EKS clusters.
- Fixed error when connecting to MKE clusters.
- Fixed a crash when opening a RuntimeClass details panel.

- Handle Helm repository validation errors correctly.
