To ensure a smooth transition and minimize disruption we’ll start by rolling out the update to a small portion of our users, then incrementally increasing this number until all users have access to the update. If you have not received the update and wish to try it out, you can download this version manually at our website .
Here’s what you can expect:
- Lens Prism - Lens Prism is a new AI-powered assistant built into Lens Desktop. It allows you to interact with your clusters using natural language. It supports real-time diagnostics and troubleshooting based on your current cluster context. All actions are performed through your personal kubeconfig, fully respecting Kubernetes RBAC. Prism supports any OpenAI-compatible LLM backend, including air-gapped or self-hosted models. No elevated agents. No privilege overreach. It runs entirely within your security boundaries. Available to all Lens Premium plan users.
- AWS EKS Integration Improvements - Easily create, rename, and remove AWS profiles directly from the Lens UI — no need for the AWS CLI.
- Terminal Resizing Fix - Fixed an issue that caused incorrect terminal dimensions in some environments. Terminal sizing now adapts correctly.
- Log Viewer Stability - Resolved an issue that caused flickering in the log viewer. Log output now displays consistently.
- Add to Hotbar from Navigator - You can now add clusters to the Hotbar directly from the navigator for quicker access.
Bug fixes:
- Resolved issue with uninstalling Lens Metrics
- Fixed layout glitches in the Security Center
- Corrected data display in the Security Center overview chart
- Fixed binary resolution issues, allowing Lens to correctly find tools in the system PATH.
