Port Forward shouldn't always be Random port by default

Instead it should use the port that you’re trying to forward.

For example, if I forward 5005, it will default to port 5005 in the menu, as long as I don’t currently have the port forwarded in Lens, and it isn’t :80 or another port that can’t be forwarded.

Additionally the “Open in Browser” and “https” should remain as they are right now, except:

  • if I check “Open in Browser” or “https” for a specific port (e.x. 5005), Lens should keep that memorized for the next time it pops up for that port.

With these implemented, to me it will be an extreme quality of life improvement for remote debugging.

Hi @lkjcdjklvcxkjl,

Thanks a lot for your feedback — we really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts!

I’ve already created an internal ticket for this and we’ll be discussing it with the team. The ideas you outlined would definitely make a big difference, especially for remote debugging workflows.

We’ll keep you posted on any updates. Thanks again!
