Lens 2026.3.130712-latest - Release

The new Stable release of Lens Desktop is here - featuring MCP server support, Prism AI improvements including a new terminal skill, an enhanced onboarding experience, and numerous bug fixes.

To ensure a smooth transition and minimize disruption we’ll start by rolling out the update to a small portion of our users, then incrementally increasing this number until all users have access to the update. If you have not received the update and wish to try it out, you can download this version manually at our website.

  • MCP Server: Lens Desktop now exposes an MCP server for AI tool integration, with a toggle in preferences
  • MCP Kubernetes Tools: Added MCP tools for cluster management and kubectl execution
  • MCP Prometheus Tools: Added MCP tools for Prometheus metrics, alerts, and label values
  • Prism AI - Terminal Skill: Introduced terminal skill for AI-driven CLI-command execution with environment variable support
  • Prism AI - Anthropic Provider: Added Anthropic as a BYOK AI provider for API-key based usage
  • Prism AI - Multiple Configurations: Support for managing multiple AI provider configurations from the Integrations page
  • Prism AI - Choose Provider/Model from Chat: AI provider and model can now be selected directly from the Prism chat, grouped by provider
