Lens 2026.8.270956-latest Release

The new Stable release of Lens Desktop is here.

To ensure a smooth transition and minimize disruption we’ll start by rolling out the update to a small portion of our users, then incrementally increasing this number until all users have access to the update. If you have not received the update and wish to try it out, you can download this version manually at our website.

Key Features

Advanced editor

Editing a resource no longer means editing blind. Switch the editor into a side-by-side diff to see exactly what you have changed since you opened the tab, and revert to the original in one click. The advanced editor is a premium feature.

Bug Fixes

Cluster Connection for Non-Admin Users
Connecting to a cluster as a user without cluster-admin rights no longer stalls at “Refreshing cluster accessibility…” for minutes or even hours; the check completes in seconds again.

Argo CD Resources in Custom Resources
Argo CD Applications, ApplicationSets and AppProjects now appear in the Custom Resources view even when the Argo CD namespace isn’t part of the tab’s namespace selection; previously they could show 0 items.

Empty Custom Resource Lists
Custom resource lists no longer occasionally stay empty until the view is reopened.

Argo CD and Flux Namespace Notice
The Argo CD and Flux dashboards no longer claim limited namespace visibility on clusters with full access when Argo CD or Flux runs in a non-default namespace, and show a loading state instead of the notice while the first load is still in progress.
