After upgrading to the new version this morning, the experience is quite disappointing. The app takes a long time to respond, even when clicking on an item.

This matches a known regression on 2026.5.181248-latest. A patch release is already built and in the publish pipeline; we expect it out shortly. I will update this thread once it is live.

Quick follow-up: the patch release is out. Version 2026.5.250609-latest is now available at Lens – Download and addresses the renderer-thread regression that was making the previous build feel sluggish. If you have auto-update enabled, it should also roll out to you within the next short while.
Apologies again for the disruption – the previous build was unusable on any reasonably busy cluster and we should have caught it before it shipped publicly.
If you have a moment after updating, it would help us a lot if you could confirm whether the lag is gone on your side. Even a quick “yes, much better” or “no, still slow” closes the loop for us internally.
