This is not fair to make addicted over years to a nice, simple and convenient UI with somewhat modern design and then release a complete overhaul that looks like an enterprise app from 10 years back.
The UI is just terrible in overall, it doesn’t look like a fancy app anymore, it’s not catchy. I’d guess primarily because of new navigation bar with its complex tree view, and the small font size. The tabs experience is also annoying - I wonder if majority of users really asked for that.
I understand it may sound like regular “oh they changed the app, bring it back”, but the UX changes are just like switching to completely different audience. The functionality looks same to me as before, but there is no joy using it anymore. Like with any enterprise software. It’s sad.
Update: actually I must admit that the workload details view looks better than before.
Really curious about the reason for the change. When users are accustomed to a certain way of operating, a sudden change in user experience can lead to disastrous results.
